Jan Dean
Jan Dean is a Consultant at Grahall, LLC. Mr. Dean is responsible for providing consulting services to clients regarding the following disciplines: Executive Compensation, Wage & Salary Administration, Incentive Compensation, Organization Design, Employee Relations, and Training & Development.
Mr. Dean is President of Dean Group Consulting. Before forming Dean Group Consulting, now based in Lutz, Florida, Mr. Dean served as a Vice President and Midwest Manager of the Management Consulting Division of Alexander & Alexander (now part of AON), a large international human resource management consulting firm. Prior to that position, he was affiliated for three years with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers), a major accounting and consulting firm where he served as Director of Compensation and Human Resource Consulting for that firm’s Central and Southeastern Regions.
Prior to the above affiliations, Mr. Dean spent five years with William M. Mercer, Incorporated, a large international compensation and employee benefits consulting firm where he served as an Assistant Vice President and Manager of the Central Region Human Resource Consulting Group. He also has five years of industry experience in the human resource field.
Mr. Dean has provided professional human resource consulting services to a diversity of small, medium-sized, and large clients. His experience includes industrial companies, financial service institutions, professional organizations, physician group practices, health care institutions, and public sector organizations. Mr. Dean has served as a guest speaker at professional seminars and for professional groups and associations that include the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, The Northwest Suburban Manufacturers’ Association, and the Bank Administration Institute. He has authored papers and technical manuals in the human resource field and is a former member of the faculty at the Keller Graduate School of Management.
